About Charles herich...
Charles' Story
Charles was born on August 14, 1959, in New Orleans, LA. He graduated from Vista High School in 1977 and went on to study at the University of California Santa Barbara. He graduated from UCSB in 1981 with a BS in Chemical Engineering with High Honors. He then started working for the Shell Oil Company in 1981 and retired after 39 years of service. He has been a resident of Solano County for 34 years and counting.

Our Philosophy
"I believe that working closely with the other SID board members has made significant improvements. We have been able to keep SID’s rate increases less than inflation (CPI) while improving our safety and reliability performance. SID rate increases have been 3–4 % on average for the past 3-1/2 years while the California inflation rate has been above 8%. By comparison, PG&E rate increases have been above 12 % per year for the past 3-1/2 years. More work needs to be done in this area and I intend to focus my efforts on cost efficiency, safety, and reliability. I am asking for your support by voting to re-elect me to this office."
